Musical „Starlight Express“
Starlight Express is probably one of the most famous musicals in the world. Since 1988, the fast-paced roller-skating musical has been performed in the purpose-built musical theatre in Bochum. To date, more than 17 million spectators have visited the action-packed show at the STARLIGHT EXPRESS theatre in Bochum.

ZOOM Erlebniswelt
Alaska, Africa, Asia: at ZOOM Erlebniswelt, visitors can travel around the world in one day – right in the heart of the Ruhr region, 365 days a year. On an area of more than 30 hectares, a zoo was created at the beginning of the millennium that is unique in Germany.
At the site of the historic Ruhr Zoo, landscape architects seized the opportunity to realise one of the most extensive zoo redesign projects in Europe. Something completely new was created: A consistently naturalised living environment in which around 900 animals of over 100 species find an almost natural home.
